Three Important Developments for Undergraduates

Starting in 2016-17,

  • whereas previously only the second grade of a repeated course would become the grade of record, the third grade of record will now count toward the gpa if a course is taken three times: details
  • after the drop deadline, students may withdraw from a course until the last day of classes without earning a grade: details
  • students changing degree programs can get courses that are not meeting the new degree requirements forgiven from their record and have their gpa amended: details

Note: None of these changes are retroactive and only apply to events starting Fall 2016 and thereafter.
